Thank You Gabbe Grodin!!!

Yesterday, we said farewell to our spectacular spring intern, though we know she will not be a stranger. Thank you for sharing your energy, love of art, and neon pink heart with our students and teachers. You will be MISSED! We look forward to hearing about your next adventure. Above are several of her studies, full of color just like Gabbe.

Parade of Puppets and Bridge-O-Rama

With the help of Oak Cliff artists (including Oil and Cotton's super intern, Jessica Sinks), organizations from across the region have crafted 10-foot-tall puppets in the likeness of 15 different individuals who during their lives had a significant impact on the history of West Dallas. The Parade of Puppets will take place this Saturday, March 3rd at 1pm starting at 400 Singleton Blvd. and parading east across the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and back. This is a FREE event. Visit the Bridge-O-Rama website for more information.
