Long Stitch Books!

Join us this Friday for the next installment of our bookbinding series. Take one or more of our ongoing bookbinding series and create a model collection of book structures. This is a versatile book structure that lends itself to books designed and printed on standard-sized papers. Writers, artists and book binders can modify this structure to meet their needs. The long stitch book structure dates from the 14th century. These books provide a non-adhesive, mechanical tight back that has a full and easy opening despite a rigid spine. We purchased this beautiful French paper from our favorite local paper merchant, Paper Arts. The paper looks like a 1950's kitchen floor. Sweet! Click here to register.

We organize creative retreats for professionals, birthdays for kiddos, and fundraisers for community organizations. Deanne's gal pals had a wedding decorating party in our digs last night.
